Naomi - Jazz

Naomi has been in the music environment her entire life. She is the granddaughter of the renowned Big band Jazz singer Ann Trevor, who roseto fame in the Forties. Her voice and singing style often inspires Naomi when she is on stage. She is also the niece of the late Ronnie Verrel whose respect in the music profession as a drummer is widely recognised and celebrated.

Her musical career includes perfomances at ‘Ronnie Scotts’ and ‘The Jazz Café’. Naomi gets the most pleasure performing traditional Jazz standards written by the likes of Cole Porter and Gershwin. Her singing style has been likened to Ella Fitzgerald as she seems to possess the age old technique of livening one’s senses, akin to having goose bumps all over!

Naomi has a natural ear for harmonies an rhythm which she combines with her deep smooth soulful voice. She will more than please lovers of Jazz Music and even those who aren’t!
