Rockafella

Rockafella comprises a young Zimbabwean couple, Brendon and Caz, who fired up the duo during their university days in Cape Town. Brendon (lead guitarist and vocals) and Caz (vocals, sax, flute & various other bits!) started off playing in pubs and bars for a laugh & soon realized this pastime was worth pursuing. They now perform professionally on weekends at a range of social and corporate events, using high performance equipment and offering a wide choice of repertoire to accommodate for many different tastes.

Since their humble beginnings in Cape Town, the band travelled to Aspen, Colorado, where they gained huge experience and enjoyed a successful 6 months playing at weddings, private/corporate functions and for the après-ski in the pubs. In pursuit of Brendon's Sound Engineering career the couple relocated to London in April 2003. The move brought them a massive audience and they revelled in the in the big city pace, playing at everything from weddings to Walkabout to P&O Ferries. They got married in December 2004 and have since moved to Woking in Surrey, where they now play predominately at weddings and private parties in & around the countryside. This young couple has a great way with a crowd, and their experience and charisma can get even the most hesitant fingers snapping. It’s a great way to make the very best of those special occasions.

While the band has an extensive repertoire and can play several hours of live music, they also have a huge selection of recorded disco/jazz/classical/50ies music - whatever you want - that can be played during dinner service or in between sets or as a final session to end off the night. They can arrange their PA system to assist with speeches, and relocate from one room to the next without too much trouble if need be.
