From “Child Prodigy” to his outstanding tribute to Sammy Davis Jr. Ray is a talent to be reckoned with. He began his professional career at the tender age of ten, performing with the “Royal Philharmonic Orchestra” The Ted Heath Big Band & The Jack Parnell Orchestra supporting such stars Sir Harry Secombe, Frankie Vaughn, Tommy Steele, Billy Fury, Sir Rolf Harris. To name but a few. Ray has toured extensively throughout Europe and the UK appearing at the London Palladium, the Royal Festival Hall and The Sporting Club Monte Carlo, plus appearances on UK & European TV. Classically trained, Ray is constantly in demand as a studio session singer due to him being blessed with perfect pitch and a natural ability to harmonize. His wide vocal range and warm tone gives an individual sound that once heard never forgotten. Ray met his Icon Sammy Davis Jr many years ago when he was just a boy at The London Palladium. It was only last year that Ray decided to put together a Tribute show. ( In Rays own words) To The Greatest Entertainer who ever Lived. Rays Tribute to Sammy Davis Jr is powerful and takes his audience on an emotional journey of fun ( The Candyman) to his heart rendering acapella version of “ Old Man River” Ray is the only SOLO tribute to Sammy Davis Jr in the UK & Europe. He also has a 9 piece band, made up of some of the best musicians from the West End shows. Ray has recently signed up to The Morganhaus music group in Los Angeles to represent him in the United States.
