Soul City

Soul City are five talented and professional musicians who will put the life and soul into your party, whatever the event may be. Their show includes soul, funk, pop and disco classics from the 70's to the present day by artists such as James Brown, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Aretha Franklin, Chaka Khan and Kool and the Gang. Soul City features some of the most versatile, professional and experienced musicians in the UK who are guaranteed to make any event special and have a vast repertoire that is constantly being updated. The band members are also great jazz players and can include bossa novas, swing numbers and ballads for dinners and receptions.

The usual line-up consists of vocals, saxaphone, guitar, bass and drums. Members of the band have performed for clients such as: HRH The Prince of Wales (at Highgrove and St James's Palace), The Dorchester, Mercedes, Debenhams, London Marathon, T-Mobile, HSBC, Business Post, Grand Hyatt Hotel Singapore, Tate Modern London, Mandarin Oriental Hotel and numerous weddings and private parties of all kinds.

In their own right, the band members have performed with artists such as Gloria Gaynor, Martha Reeves, Shakira, Edwin Starr, Macy Gray, Don Weller etc.
