Therapeutic Sinatra experiences
In 2010 Frank received a call out of the blue from a lady whose Mother was a dementia sufferer.
Her Mother had recently been given a new live in carer and she was in a low mood, quite angry and confused, but had shown improvement in her mood upon hearing Sinatra being played on the gardeners radio.
Her mother and Father had a fantastic social life when they were younger, with regular cocktail parties at their Highgate Hill Mansion flat, dancing and singing to Frank Sinatra records, they were known as ‘The folks that live on the hill’.
Her Daughter thought an afternoon performance for her and a couple of her remaining friends who still live in the block might lift her mood.
Unfortunately her friends were to unwell to join her, but on a beautiful summer’s day, the Lady appeared, grumpy and squinting into the sunshine on the arm of her daughter to take her seat on the bench, all the time saying ‘what is this for?’, where are we going?’ as the strains of Peggy Lee’s ‘The Folks that live of the hill’ played on the breeze.
The first song was ‘Anything goes’ a Cole Porter song from the 1937 musical of the same name, still unresponsive and agitated followed by another Cole Porter song ‘I get a kick out of you’ which made her fleetingly smile and by the third song was singing along with the chorus.
The performance lasted for around 30 minutes and on the penultimate song ‘Fly me to the moon’ the Lady took her daughters hand and started slowly dancing.
One more song and the Lady returned inside, back to her apartment, the music having allowed a Mother and her Daughter to reconnect in a joyous few moments.
Since that time Frank has performed at many occasions especially for Dementia sufferers, like the 100th birthday where surrounded by her family, the birthday girl lay on her bed propped up by pillows and held ‘Frank’s’ hand for a 20 minute performance as she gazed into his eyes and mouthed every word of every song and others where families have been able to dance once again with their loved ones over the bond of music.

So Sinatra
Surrey based So Sinatra is one of the UK’s finest and experienced tribute acts dedicated to the music of Frank Sinatra. Having performed at just about every kind event from intimate gatherings to large corporate shows and theaters since 2002 he has a wealth of experience, not only delivering the songs accurately with consummate professionalism and accuracy but the ability to interact and connect with the audience close up during roaming performances. The repertoire or over 1200 songs is wide enough to satisfy almost any audience even today for the right occasion.
So Sinatra is possibly the most complete of all the ‘Impersonators’ in the ‘Sinatra’ field and one of the few solely dedicated 100% to performances as Sinatra. The Sound is so close and the delivery so effortless that he is constantly accused of miming. So Sinatra also talks and jokes around like Frank which can add pure magic and class to any event.
So Sinatra has performed at 1000’s of Weddings, Birthday parties, Anniversaries, Corporate events, Charity balls, Golf Club Dinners, Restaurant openings and events including venues such as Ronnie Scott’s, Hampton Court and Chelsea Flower shows, Wentworth, Hurlingham Club, RAC Club, Foxhills Country Club, Dorchester Penthouse and Ballroom, The Grosvenor, Savoy, Landmark Ritz-Carlton Dubai and Singapore Grand Prix.
So Sinatra backing tracks are second to none and feature real big bands and Orchestras for an totally authentic sound. Although pianist and bands are available backing tracks are usually the best and most versatile and fun option for a fully self contained performance of any size.

Frank is the same height and build and has the look of the early 1960’s Sinatra (Frank was used as a Sinatra Body Double for Simon Cowells Birthday Party Hologram). To complete the illusion Frank is fluent in ‘Sinatraese’ which means he is frequently used to present awards and make announcements and well as joke around off the cuff , just like Frank. newsspic

‘As a long term fan of Sinatra I want to give the kind of show that I would want to experience myself, with the correct phrasing, breath control, nuance and twinkle in the eye sense of fun, as surely that was what all the fuss was about in the first place. To call it a “Sinatra Tribute” without these elements is just not ‘Sinatra’.

Frank also works with Dean Martin, Sammy Davis, Marilyn Monroe, Louis Armstrong, Michael Buble’ etc.

Under my Skin You make me feel so young
